Summer has arrived here at Caballo Blanco and we’re starting early to make the most of the cool mornings. We’ve been busy and we’re making the most of the river rides where the horses (and riders) love to stop for a paddle to stay fresh and cool during our day rides.

There’s also nothing better than a dip in the pool after a long day in the saddle.

This month we’ve waved goodbye to the smallest member of the Caballo Blanco family.
After a long journey Pipa the pony has safely arrived in Finland where she will be used as a therapy pony. Pipa suffered a little with sweet itch and we’re all hoping that a new cooler home will be just what she needs.
A huge lorry arrived for our tiny pony and we all had some big lorry envy!

We’re very lucky to live in the beautiful spa town of Lanjaron, famous for its clean natural spring water and recently the spa has had a refit improving it’s facilities. Our guests have been making the most of the new thermal circuit and it’s a great way to ease tired muscles and relax after a week in the saddle.

As July ends we’re looking forward to August with clear evenings, perfect for star gazing here in the Sierra Nevada and long dry days on the high mountain trails.
