Four and a half years ago, life brought him from the remote village of Trevelez to Caballo Blanco. Before his rescue, Johnnie’s world was confined to the four walls of a stable, day in and day out, a stark contrast to the freedom he relishes now. The lack of interaction and the monotony of his previous life led him to develop a habit of weaving – a sign of stress and frustration in horses, where they rock from side to side.
